Could the explosive coralline growth cause it

yes, need to bump dkh at least 1 a day get to 8
then figure out consumption.

I’m sure if you ment 20 gallon haha, also I don’t have baking soda I do have BRS kalk would that work ?

cal at 540 ,heaping teaspoon tonight.
mix in cup of ro water ,then add

All for reef is even worse. Took 2 + weeks before things started to show decrease.

agree ,then you can compensate for tomorrows addition.

What is did with kalk, would cause peoples heads to turn half a cup with 1 gallon of water, 2 tablespoons vinegar. Mix let settle, let drip line go. Add another gallon of water next day. Rinse and repeat until kalk got low. Montis, pociporilla loved it. I know, not safe reefing. But it worked for that old system.

Wont do that now. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone really.

i feel like because I had so many stopping points in the tank that has caused my corals to stop growing and since I finally started to get things right things started rapidly growing. I had bunch of covered in coralline algae in a week.

but yea time to drink my sleepy time tea and get up at 4
