What is the best location for the optical sensor on the ATO for a JBJ 25 AIO? Seems like every location I’ve tried has resulted in dumping excessive RODI onto the tank. I’ve tried both the middle and first chambers, I’ve been told the center is the suggested location but maybe I’m overlooking something.

I put mine in the center. The water level shouldn't change in the other two locations (as in first) only the center one so that possibly could be why. I have a jbj aio 45 so it may be slightly different but the optical sensor is in the middle one and it works perfectly fine. Could it be the way you're setting up the optical sensor? I might try it in a test tank or bucket of water outside of the tank to double check
Thanks guys. So I figured it out, or so I think. Optical sensor in the center and the return hose into the center chamber, I think the issue was it was dumping the RODI in the first chamber and just dumping for way too long before turning off? It’s been working fine all day.
