JBJ 28 LED Build

OK, the build has begun. Under my supervision my wife is going to be the owner of this one! She is going to create a RBTA and clown tank, she is undecided what clowns are going to live in the tank. I'm trying to convince her we need SA Black Ice clowns!!!!

Well enough typing, on to the pics!

Very nice. If I have to be honest, I did not think it was looking all that until I saw that last pic. Looks absolutely stunning. Love the open clam. Good lock with the build. Will be checking back in to check progress.

They are my favorite, just have to convince the wife. Our club is going to plan a tour of Sustainable Aquatics in a few months, I'll walk her through the Black Ice tanks and tell her that's all they have available....:angel:

Cycle has ended and clean up crew was added to the tank last night. The wife has chosen GSM Clowns for the tank, pics to follow tomorrow.

Well, I've kinda neglected this thread.I had a set back with the LED's, the hood holds 5 strips of the whiteLED's and two of the strips went out.
After 3 weeks of waiting forJBJ, the replacement strips arrived. It took about 20 minutes or soto replace them, the electronics in the hood are protected by 15+screws and two silicon gaskets.
I'll post up some full tank shotstomorrow.

Fighting a small amount of cyano, but all the corals seem to be happy.
My wife tells me every day how much she loves her tank.
