JBJ 28 nano led upgrade

I just recently was given this 28g nano with the CF Quad lighting. The lights do not work on this so I was looking into upgrading this system to LEDs. The wife would like to keep the hood, I would like to remove it. I was looking at the Rapid LEDs, true lumen, and Steve's LEDs. i think I have ruled out the true lumen. What are everyone's thoughts on these retrofit kits?

Can I ask why you ruled out the True Lumen setup? That seems to be the least difficult to install lol.

It does seem to be the easiest to install. I just didn't like the look of it. I am looking for more of a full spectrum light. I'm really trying to convince my wife to go hoodless and pick up either a xr15, or kessil. She wants this to be her tank so I'm not winning the argument. I have a 65g in the family room, she has this one in the living room.
