just picked this tank up the other day for 100 bucks with stand. pretty good steal! decided to go with the sb reef led with timer. also ordered a in tank media basket for one of the chambers. it came with a coral box skimmer that will go in another chamber. picking up a aquamaxx media reactor today. light will be in tomorrow and tank will be going up tomorrow night. will post pics with progress!

This is actually my third reef tank. Started with a 65 now I'm with a 20 long and couldnt pass up this Jbj so I'm upgrading the 20 long to this lol here is a old pic of my 65 before I tore it down and moved

yea im really excited for this. to get setup. like a little kid on christmas lol. anything you recomend when setting up one of these?

Not really, I decided to try the pond matrix in this tank after seeing a lot of good info on it. Will report back on that but so far so good. If your going to run a skimmer take a look at the tunze 9001.

ive seen alot of good reviews on that skimmer. the tank came with a coral box skimmer that he said ran really good. gonna give that a try if not that tunze skimmer will be ordered. ill also be running a in tank media basket on one side. heard good reviews on them. what lights do you run on yours?

I want to get the intank but when I went to order they were out of stock and I forgot about it until now lol. I'm running the AI Hydra 26 HD on the AI flex mount. Happy with it so far.

which chamber did your skimmer fit into?

I'm using the 9004 in the middle chamber where the return pumps go and am using the Smart ATO Micro to keep my water level steady. I tried running it in other chambers but it would only fit in the right side over flow and was such a tight fit I wasn't happy with it. I would have gone with the 9001 had I known but oh well.

yea ill be running the skimmer on the right side because thats the only place it fits properly. if it doesnt work out ill probably order the tunze
