I had this laying around and decided to start it back up, what's one more tank?! It didn't come with a lid, but for 20 bucks I didn't complain.

So after cycle, what should or could I put in it? Current is a elcheapo led light, no really sure there is or will be a light upgrade planned.

I think the lid missing expands your led option. Get one of those cheap reef radiance or reef breeders lights and hang over it or go with a species only tank and build it to that fish or inverts liking. I would like to have a small species tank for either a dwarf angler, or a mantis shrimp. With something like that lighting is not as important or space. Just some thoughts.

I had thought of a dwarf angler too, not sure if 6 is big enough for a mantis though.

Thanks for the interest. Currently I have a few pieces of macro algae in there trying to grow out. Still undecided on what critter I am planning to get for it.

Nothing really. The macro is growing really well. I put a clown goby in just for something, but he disappeared. There is egg crate on it, but those guys are tiny!

get a blood shrimp and some cool zoas

Blood shrimp would be cool, but I can't keep zoas alive for nothing! I have tried numerous times and they always kept away, while softies or lps seem to grow. I don't get it.
