So I think I have it narrowed down to the jbj 65 and a SC 80-90 gal cube.
I really like the idea of the JBJ being an all in one - but I really like the SC bundles that are available online as well.
I have had a few years experience with a 32 gal BioCube, so I’m familiar with an “included sump behind a false wall” but I have never messed with a spectate sump below the tank.

I am looking for a little input/advice on these two options . I would really like to avoid “apex and other difficult systems” while at the same time not having a ton of upkeep (lol, right?)

Thanks for any input

Ooo...tough call, but mostly because neither is a bad choice IMO. Having run both AIO tanks and under tank sumps, I personally prefer the separate sump. It's just easier to work on IMO and you have more options open to you. In the end, it's just a preference question as either can give you a good system.
