Anyone know a method or solution to sealing a cracked chiller? I asked the company and they don't offer warranty to second hand buyers. It was also purchased in 2015. They recommended marine epoxy but it leaked through that. I tried plastic welding it. The tiny amount of water in the chiller has made the effort difficult. I'm trying silicone now. I am open to other ideas if the silicone doesn't work.

hi, where is crack ? material? pics?
no silicone !!!

The white part of the machine. According to the manual, the white part is called chiller. Its cracked on the edge of the side. I currently don't have confirmation of the material of the chiller. The customer support guy thinks it is polyethylene. I tried polyethylene with a regular soldering needle. It didn't work well with a small amount of water leaking.

I'll try it. Is it any cement or that specific blue pvc cement? Should I remove the silicone I put on? Would it be fine to use the cement if there is water dripping?

specific wet/dry ,normally blue.
yes must remove silicone completely. alcohol wipe clean.
best with any leak ,try to remove water from chiller tank.dump, blow out,vac out, etc...

I'll look into it. I'll have to remove the silicone and the plastic I welded on. Then remove / drain the water in the chiller compartment. Any reason not to use the primer? It seems primer and cement are always used together.

as far as primer, i have just found that the "blue glue" works best without.. ;)
