Well, I've been stumped all weekend so figured I'd come here and ask [emoji4].

My mixing station is the standard two Brute stacked on top of each other, fresh RODI on top, fresh mixed salt on bottom. I then have a 3 gallon bucket acting as my ATO reservoir, which sits on the concrete floor in my basement. Sump is a 100g Rubbermaid container that also sits on the floor. ATO is a JBJ and I use an AquaLifter pump.

Here's the problem - I have to refill the ATO reservoir daily. Unfortunately, I'm going on vacation for 10 days in the very near future and I don't have anyone to refill it daily, so I thought easy enough, just plumb the input line from my AquaLifter into the Brute with RODI and I'm set. That also works great, with a major caveat, lol. Once the AquaLifter starts pumping, it creates a siphon (because the Brute is several feet above the sump, and tank for that matter).

I can't for the life of me, short of buying a peristaltic pump, figure out how to plumb the AquaLifter pump into the Brute without it siphoning the entire container into my tank. Ideas?

Excuse the mess... But pictures just in case.

Can't help you on the aqualifter pump but I used to have to fill my ATO container and hated it. I bought 2 solenoids (actually 3 but out of scope) one turns on the RODI, and the other let's water flow to the top off container.

I have 2 wemo switches that control the filling twice a week with a float to stop the rodi from flooding the container.

My top off container is 10g filling burns a little di but it's worth it for convenience

Or maybe a check valve on the line as a temp solution
