Hi all, I purchased a JbJ chiller last year. It was automatically set at 78. I try to maintain the temperature in my 75 gallon are usually at 77. Since it's warmer now, my chiller turns on alot at 79 (+1), the problem is, then chills the water flowing thru the chiller too much 3-4 degrees less to 75-76. It's not good for temperature to fluctuate. How do you calibrate the chiller to turn off once chiller temperature is reached at 77? The down button is set to 78 same as the up. Please advice

Have you tried contacting the manufacturer for their recommendations?

I have no experience with them as i a/c the tank room.

Bump for some more looks an input possibly from people who have had one.

Not sure if you have apex, but if you do, should be able to figure out long it takes to drop from 80 to 78° when it kicks on, and program a timer to shut if off after said time passes.

Just an idea. Trying to help. Hopefully others chime in. Gl

I don't have an Apex devise. I tried calling the manufacturer but had to leave a message. I did a bit of research on other options and I did order the Inkbird ITC-308 for cooling and heating control... I'll see if that'll work turning off the chiller when temperatures reach their minimum. Thank you for your reply.
