JBJ kessil light question

Hello,

I am thinking about getting a kessil A160WE light for my 24 gallon JBJ that has the top currently on. I wanted to know how you guys mounted the light on the JBJ if the stock kessil mount would work or what else you had come up with. Also does anyone have good information on the kessil 150 since that is the most comparable one in regards to height/coral growth and what can be kept.

I have the 30g JBJ rimless nano, at first I had the a150, Kessel. And saw ok growth and decent coloration.

But then I switched to the Kessel A350W and saw amazing growth and coloration. So that is what I'm sticking with.

If I could figure out how to post pics on here I would. But the attachment button does not work .

I forgot to mention I'm using the Kessil gooseneck on it. Works great.

I have the A160we on my jbj 30 gallon rimless. How high from the top of the tank do you guys have the Kessil? I have the gooseneck but not the little 20 dollar attachment to hang light at 90 degrees.

6-8 inches above water is fine, I don't like the 90 attachments.. Too high and a. Ron of light spillage outside of tank.. Ide hang it at the level you need for the lighting coverage u desire, less intense at further distance though 160 are recommended for every square foot.. 360 for every square 2 ft. I would have done a 360 for that size tank

I have mine at maybe 4" above. I adjusted it until there was no light spillage past the rim.
