A quick question to anyone who might be following along.

Dumb question, perhaps. As many probably know, this tank is an "all in one", with the filtration system built in to the back. Water flows through an overflow at the center top. When I feed the new fish the food tends to get caught in the current and before it has the chance to sink to the fish it drains into the filter.

Are there any fixes for this other than to turn off the pumps?

Try sinking pellets or feeding mid water column.

I've added some corals from the 10 gallon tank. Mostly Acans and Zoas after dipping them in CoralRx.

I received a bag full of pods in the mail and threw them in this afternoon.

Things are moving along pretty quickly with this tank. I have moved many of the various corals from the 10 gallon to it, dipping them all in CoralRx. They've all reacted positively. Have added a few small fish, including two small ocellaris clowns, a inch long royal gramma and a Hectors Goby.

Two Little Fishies makes a feeding ring that floats and will keep the food from going into the filter. It attaches to the side of the tank with a small magnet.

Sixteen months later and I'm catching up! I'm very happy with this tank. Lots of corals, a few too many fish and inverts and some red flatworms, to boot.
