Has anyone swapped out their return pumps? I'm finding after 4 month's they are probably half the power they where.... I've clean them well and didn't help. What pump are you guys using when changing them out?

What JBJ tank do you have? I had a JBJ 28 and used a Cobalt mj1200 for one of the returns.....the other return wasn't being used because it was blocked by the skimmer. If running both pumps I'd probably go for two Cobalt MJ900. These Cobalt pumps are the original Maxijets.....still made in Italy. The new Maxijets are junk.

I have a 45 Gallon and went with a Waveline 2500 ( 662 GPH) but then I added a overflow and put a sump
Inside the stand I know have a VarioS-6 in there

You could get a Y linkloc connection and only have one pump rather than two
If you look at GPH on a single pump ( I still have mine even though I only used them for a month)
Multiple it by two then by a pump rated for that
You can buy the y connection at Marine Depot
Matter of fact they have a video on our tank on making mods and that is where I got the idea
