Hello , I'm new to the forum. Not too new to tanks but have been out of the hobby for about 8 years. I will have several tanks set up in the house I have been renovating for the last 2 years. We just moved in last month so the first tank to go in is a jbj rl 45, tank chosen because the size fits in the whole under the stairs, we added an up stairs to the house. Tank is in the early stages, enjoy

Welcome, I just ordered the jbj 30 gallon rl and really excited to get it. Looking forward to seeing yours, what type of lighting will you be using and what will you be stocking? Thanks!!:)

Soft corals and fish in this one. I bought reef breeders leds from a local person I bought 2 bit for now I am mounting just one over it

I put the the jbj sk 45 skimmer in it. I'm building a screen cover today for it.

It will look amazing if it fits in that hole. Make sure the entire tank fits flush without having the tank sticking out from the hole. I would recommend using some sort of a plywood board if the tank sticks out a bit. Although it's not a huge tank, 45 gallon = close to 400 lb and if it will be significant pressure applied to the bottom seal.
I love the modern look of those stairs, kinda scary though without rails lol

There will be railing just haven't done them. house is going slow i haven't hired anything out yet

Made my screen for about $20 from Lowes and that got enough to make 2.
