JBs mushrooms not opening

All my coral are happy but my mushrooms aren't opening... For about one week now I tested the water and the alk was at 6 slowly bring it up daily... No flat worm or bugs on them cant figure it out...

Are these new mushrooms or have you had them awhile? Please list all your other water parameters.

Could it be too much flow? sometimes if my mushrooms move around they get somewhere with strong flow and get very mad

Alk at 6 mag at 1400 cal at 400 nitrite at 1.0 phos at 0.0 ph is 7.8 salinity at 1.026 temp at 77.8

I never change anything I know the alk down I'm slowly bring it up and my cal I want to have at 460. I did two water changes in one week to get the nitrate down.

I had them for about one year now.. I just look at them, they are a little more open up today then they were all week. Not as open as I like them.

Not sure but I think bringing alk up would help...

Yeah should I do a other water change in the question? It's been 5 days or just keep dosing?

I'm not a pro or expert but if it was me and everything was good except the alk I would just dose .. but try to pinpoint why ur alk. Is dropping.

I talk to a friend that been in the hobby for about 10 years now only deals with SPS and he told me that alk feeds off cal so if the alk down the calls down too and to dos both I'm going to give this a try.. I

Maybe to much light . Have you checked your par around that area.. whatever they are Seems like they was thriving so would interested to see why myself!?? I gotta jb while back and melted two weeks later!! So I'll be following..
