Is this for people who don't have the push button controller? I have the controller with button with my Jaebo's, will this give me anything extra that I can't already do with my controller? Is the only way to make changes and control pumps is to connect to you laptop?

The JBWave replaces the controller of Jebao pumps and works with the existing power supply and connecting cable of the Jebao WP pumps. With no screen to adjust the JBWave itself, programming of the dual Jebao controller requires a connection to any Mac, PC or Ubuntu Linux computer using a USB cable, allowing granular adjustments of wave pattern, cycle speed, cycle time and ramp time.

Reefster, the Jbwave gives you far more precise control over your pumps. Think ecotech control, way better than the stock control. This version requires a USB connection to your windows enabled laptop or pc.

This controller gives you a ton of options. It can control up to two jebao powerheads. You can do pretty much anything you imagine. Everything from speed, duration, time of day etc. I loved it, but use an apex to control my powerheads now.
