JCOLE's Big Box of Rocks

Very nice. Great idea for a peninsula. Don't suppose you're going to put a seaswirl on each one? =)

I have thought about it. Maybe down the road. They are hard to find though. Right now just loc-line.

She's ready. It will be here next week

Holy Freaking Wow!!!
Oh the stoked feeling of a new project :)

I checked the cameras at work today and noticed the tank. The shipping company was supposed to call and set up a time for delivery but instead just dropped it into my driveway. I ran home to get it covered from the sun and with the help of some awesome neighbors I was able to get it into the garage. Ended up working out better though because I only had to move it 5'. It was pretty light. So glad I went with acrylic. It looks great! I am going to fill it up tomorrow to inspect for leaks, etc.

That's not a tank, it's a swimming pool!:D

Congratulations! Can't wait to see it with some life inside!

Spent the day today moving everything over to the 300 sump in the garage. Next weekend I will hopefully have the old tank out and start on prepping the room.
Disregard the wiring. I threw things together late last night.

Your acros look so good! What phosphate and nitrate levels do you keep?

Thanks! I wish they still looked good. I recently lost 80% of my Acro's and I think one of the reasons was due to high nutrients. When the corals looked their best my No3 was 5-10ppm and Po4 .03-.06. When they lost color and STN'd they shot up to No3 at 80ppm and Po4 .25-.35ppm. I started dosing Vodka a couple months ago and now they are down to No3 20pppm and Po4 .01. Color is starting to come back though.

That is where mine used to be. A little higher on No3 for me but close. Your post reminded me to test. I just tested and Po4 registered 0 and No3 is 20.4. It's getting better. I find Acro's do really well for me with lower Alk and nutrients.
