Thanks Nikesb-They grow alright. Maybe a polyp or 2 every month maybe :squigglemouth: Never really paid attention lol. I just mounted my micro-colony to a frag tile (3"x6") to get them off the large disc so they can grow out into a bigger colony. I made a few frags in the process :wink:. I'll try to snap a pic tomorrow of the ones under my MH in my DT. I think they have a deeper red, but it's really hard to capture the true color on my Sony camera. They are more red than orange and are at the top of my list of all my favorites.

I would like some opinions please. Once we move to our new house I'm thinking of opening up the aquascaping a bit more. Part of me doesn't want to because of the amount of fish I have in here for hiding spots, but then on the other hand I really want the space to grow corals out. I already had to frag some back that were near the water surface. Using low light like I am really makes them grow up instead of out I think. I'm also planning on adding some Reef brites but have to figure out how I am going to mount them to my pendants, or build an aluminum rail for them. I'm thinking 2-30", for front and back. Any comments on any of the above :squigglemouth:?

I haven't seen Sexy corals, but I know what you mean about the left side. I wasn't happy with the way it turned about, but loved how the other one did.

I think when you move you will find it will be pretty impossible to get it back just the way you currently have it so just plan on a change up and go from there as you start to move the rock in. I wouldn't get rid of any rock as you said, just to keep as many hiding places as you can in there.

Yeah I plan on changing it a little bit. I actually move things around quiet a bit now. I'm the type of person who bores easily. Its a curse lol

I thought this was pretty neat. My Flame Wrasse starting sleeping here this past week under my birdsnest. Its a night-time shot so nothing real pretty.

Really hard to get a top down shot with a MH pendant right there casting its reflection. But I like the look of this pic for some reason.

Decided to take the Bio-pellets off line a few days ago. I never made it past 100ml. At first I let it run all the time, then decided to have it come on at night. In the end, I like being able to manually dose what I want better and I hardly ever dosed anything before. I don't think my tank needs "carbon dosing" 24hrs a day.

Wondering if anyone can help ID this acro. I bought it a while ago in a frag pack and it's been growing out in my frag tank. The more light I give it, the brighter the purple becomes. The base is a greenish/blue/purple. I just moved it over to my main DT last night, so I guess we'll see if the 150w can hold the color in it.

New coral should be arriving here TOMMOORROOWW!!! WOOT. Lots of goodies. I kinda splurged a little too much this week coral but its all good. Now that tax check needs to hurry up and come in so I can put it back without the wife noticing...he he
