Jeabo OW wavemaker help

SO I bought a new Jeabo wavemaker and I am trying to figure out how to position the pump. FOr whatever reason when I position the pump the way I want it does not stay locked in that position and is easily manipulated with the cable attached. I have never had a pump which did this as when I used to use hydor you would for instance point the pump upwards and it would stay, but with this pump if I point it upwards it does not stay. Any ideas on what Im doing wrong?

I have the same one. Do you have the pump installed with the cord on the top of the pump?

What I had to do was spin the pump so the cord faced down, then the pump held the angle I wanted when I pointed it to the surface

Gotcha, I would have thought they would design the pump to be positioned easier.
