Just got a sterilizer for my 210. I'm pumping to and from the return in my sump. Thru sterilizer then carbon and gfo when I'm ready for it. Any suggestions?

Control the flow rate through it with a ball valve. Slow but moving through it. Helps with dwell time.

Clean it once a month at least, if running higher alkalinity above 8dkh. It’s glass sleeve with be coated with calcium precipitation due to the heat. This is common with all UV units.

Thanks for the info. I'm trying to raise my alk, it's been as low as 5.7. With daily dosing and testing it's coming up. It's time to get a dosing pump...
