Jebao Aqua on xfi gateway

As much as I’m into computers this one has me stumped. I have an xfi gateway from Comcast. It’s one of the newer ones which supposedly automatically switches between 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz for devices that need it. I’m trying to get Jebao Aqua connected to the 2.4 but I get an error message stating there’s no support for 5 GHz and that I should connect to 2.4 GHz. I can’t change the ssid name for the 2.4 GHz network. I’m stuck with mixed mode, ie same network ssid for both the 2.4 and 5 GHz networks. Has anyone successfully connected Jebao Aqua to their Comcast xfi gateway model xb3 or later? If so please let me know what I’m doing wrong. Thank you in advance.
