Anybody local have any experience with these? Long story short, I sold my Iwaki and got a used blueline which gave me added flow that I needed after adding a bio pellet reactor to my return manifold. Now the noise is driving me nuts and I'm looking for something that's quiet. I can move to an in sump return pump pretty easily, and am considering a 12000 or an eheim compact 5000.

I love my jebao wp40s and am thinking that their return pumps could be the way to go.

Comments appreciated......

send Chris Key a message. I know he bought a couple of them back a few months ago.

Ok, so I got one of these, the largest they offer (DC12000) since they can be throttled back if needed. Super quiet and powers my bio pellet reactor as well as the two returns.

What is the white controller? BTW I love my dc12000 as well. Been running great for 6 months now. About to buy a second one for backup.

White one is a ph monitor, just gives readings and lets me know how often to activate the kalk reactor pump to keep levels around 8.3.

I have the 6000 and love the speed settings and quietness of the pumps. I also have a Diablo skimmer with a DC pump. I barely hear them run. My fan on my Coral Life T5 fixture is louder than the pumps.

I would buy another pump.

I use the 6000 on my 60g. Im only using it as a return (no manifold or reactors). I wanted more control over the flow, and the option to add equipment as needed. I think this pump is great. Had mine almost 6 months. No noise, no heat, lots of control. I love it.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I've still got two large blueline pumps that may be used someday if and only if I have a remote sump/filtration room away from the tank. I believe these DC pumps are the way to go for an in cabinet pump. Now my skimmer sounds loud in comparison! (Old style reef octopus)

I have a waveline 6000 for my return. I have a buddy who has been using jaebo 6000 on his 60g for almost a year now. My waveline does half increment adjustments where the jaebo doesn't.
