Im building a SW mixing station. I picked up 2 Norwesco 75g mixing tanks. I would like to be able to have the SW mix a couple times a day (mix water 3 times a day for 30 minutes) and also be able to control the pump from my phone since the mixing station will be in the basement and display will be on main floor.

I have about a 10 foot run to the stairs, up a fligth of stairs and then another 15 foot run to the tank then up 5 feet to the tank.

I was thinking of using the new Jebao DCP 20,000 pump and picking up the T1 controller.
With this pump and controller work? Otherwise i was looking at getting a used Apex Jr, using my Vectra L1 and changing my pump to the COR once it comes out. Although i am happy with the Vectra on the main tank

Thanks for advice

Why not just a standard ac pump? Look for the pump curves, if it doesn't have one, I would look elsewhere honestly. I like my jebao wave makers, but I wouldn't use it for a water changing station with that much head pressure. Since you'll be running it intermittently, a regular ac pump would probably have better head pressure (typically DC pumps are weaker in that area). I have a panworld pump and it goes about 40 feet through 3/4 inch piping and up 5 feet, and that's just a 40 model which is pretty small. But it does the job well and I only have had to clean it once so far due to salt precipitation seizing the rotor. A little vinegar fixed it right up. They're good reliable pumps, and would highly recommend them. Just my thoughts. BTW, use unions everywhere and don't skimp on the ball valves. I skipped and got the cheap home depot ones, and one has already failed after a year of intermittent use. If another one fails in the same spot I'll have to redo the entire thing.

I spliced a USB cable with some irrigation wires, and have an eb4 off my Apex to control it. If you don't have an Apex, a wifi outlet controller would work too.

Yeah I got the cepex ball valves. I plan to do something like these 2. I'm gonna do the top one without the 2 end valves. I plan to copy the second one with the tanks at 45 degrees. I was thinking of the AC pump. I have the panworld 50xp-x for my original design. I'll have to get a different pump since this is max head of 13 feet. I'll still need a controller but can make this work.

I have the s1 controllers which are similar for the wave makers, and it's not exactly the easiest to connect to their wifi app. So if you're counting on that for precision, it may be a challenge. Ie you don't set an ip for the s1, it has its own wifi network that you connect to, and that sometimes is hard to do. So I can imagine if you're running around when changing water you may drop the connection.

Do you have a breakout box for your Apex? Or even an extra EB8 or EB4? Running extension from your Apex downstairs this way you can control other things as well with it. I recommend a better pump as well I actually have a dart that I'm not using. That would be more than sufficient. Also for what it's worth I found an air stone and heater being just fine on my saltwater tank. I used to have it hooked up where I would run it a couple times a day. Usually what I'll do is the day before a water change I'll kick it on and let it run for an hour or two.
