Purchased this pump used and planned on running it inline. Seller mentioned that I could, but would just need plumbing. To me that meant pvc pipe and unions, but when I received the pump, none of the original fittings and O-rings were included. Contacted seller are refunded a portion because members from my local reefing club said Home Depot would have fittings. Unfortunately, nothing at Home Depot worked. Any suggestions on what I need or where I can get the parts?

I dont think you will find those fittings in the usa.
If you were in Dongsheng, Zhongshan, Guangdong, China you might find them.

I would consider buying another new so that you have a spare. Right now it's $100 on Amazon but the prices changes frequently (I paid $60 back in Oct for the same unit). I consider it cheap insurance for when the pump eventually fails.

Ouch, that sucks. Hope you didn't pay much for it as they are so cheap as it is. I agree with Weller that you should just buy a new one as insurance and use those fittings. If not try to contact the manufacturer to see if they will sell you the part.

I may end up buying a new one. Not a bad idea to have a back up.

I also read somewhere that the threads on these are inconsistent- meaning some are standard and others are not. The threads on mine DO NOT taper, they are parallel. Again, I read somewhere that this means I need British standard fittings like in photo, but I'm not sure what size to order based off my measurement.

With standard fittings at HD, the 2" was too big and 1 1/2" too small.

I wonder if these Vectra BSP adapters would work...

Thanks. Maybe, I'll contact BRS and they would know. Looking at the package, I would need to buy 2, and so I would need to consider if I should just buy a new pump. But this might be an option.

There are 2 different types of adapters that come with these pumps. One that will let you slide pvc hose over the fitting and one that will let you slide pipe/pvc hose inside the fitting and glue it in. Which one were you thinking of using and what size? Each pump comes with 2 types of fittings and 4 different sizes. I will use only 1 fitting (1", with hose going over it) but have all the other ones. I could send you whichever one you need your way. I am in Canada though, so no idea how long it would take for it to get to you.

PS: I see at least 1 O-Ring in the pic, so that is there.

Same ...

I’m in Canada and have bought 2 of the dc pumps .
One 6500 and a 9000
Both came with tons of fittings which I only use the 1” fittings that the hose goes on the outside

6500 is for my salt mixing bucket ,
The 9000 runs my skimmer

I’m thinking of getting another to replace my return pump eventually
Either a new pump or larger display tank , not sure what upgrade will happen first
