This is used and sat for months after a tank was torn down. The pump was not cleaned but appeared to have lots of dried salt creep or something all over it. So the controller is giving me and er4 code which has to do with the impeller seized up.
The problem lies with the black piece which I believe is called the rotor. So the rotor sits over a rubber gasket. The rotor will not spin freely on that piece of rubber so the controller continues to throw a trouble code.
Does anyone have experience with this issue? I have it soaking in vinegar and hopefully that will clean it up. Is it possible to dismantle this entire impeller?

I have had the same problem with Current pumps. I thing they are made by Jebao. It may still be in the housing but there is a ceramic bushing that goes on the end. The left side in your picture. it should spin freely. An identical one is in the black rotor. The impeller on mine glued so it made it difficult trying to remove it to clean. One I was able to get the impeller to pop off. Then I was able to get the bushing off. Another one the bushing broke in half. I was able to buy a whole new assembly for less than $20. I have two different sizes of the pump and now keep an extra of both.

Thank you very much for your assist. I soaked the impeller in vinegar for a while yesterday bit no luck. I decided to try soaking it in hydrogen peroxide for a few hours and that loosened up whatever was in there and now it spins like a charm!!

Glad to hear you got it to work. I use Muriatic Acid. It works a lot faster.
