I cant remember the exact date but sometime in 2014 my Sicce return pump suddenly stopped work. In a frantic state of emergency I speed over to my LFS to get a new return pump. At that point I didnt know much of Jebao and what I did hear wasn't promising. but Store owner swore by them and wanted me to try out this all new pump he even threw in a couple of frags to make the deal.

Since then this Jebao has run flawlessly I'm currently using it on my Reefer 425xl where as the return it powers a GFO, GAC and pellet reactor at the same time while still putting out a powerful stream into the tank.

The only thing I've done to this pump in the last three years is clean it about once a year, tonight is one of those nights.

I know what a lot of people think of Jebao but this pump is probably the single best purchase I've made in this hobby and it has made me a life long Jebao customer. I run Jebao power heads and DC return pumps on all of my tanks and the ones I've helped setup with very few almost 0 problems.

I've been thinking about upgrading everything to Jebao. I have a small 38g DT now but in a year or so I'll be upgrading to a 125-150. What would you all suggest in their line that would work now and later? A PP8 or two and a DCT8000? I also plan on the big system being a basement sump. I also have an Apex that can control it all.

I would use two SW8 or even try to Coral Box QP9 which look awesome instead of the PP8s. Then use a wavemaker adapter to hook them to your Apex. The newer DCP 8000 pump looks good.
Oh and I also use the Coral Box backup batteries for all this stuff and they work pretty well. My power went out because a tree fell on the power lines down the street a few weeks ago and those batteries gave me enough time to get home and hook up the gas generator.
