I recently had my Mag7 burn out on me and had a Jebao DCT8000 laying around that I want to use as a replacement. I plugged it in and got it running fine but it has to be dialed down to almost the lowest setting which is fine.

I want to connect it to my apex so I can shut it off during feed modes, only issue is when it comes back on, it comes back at full blast which causes the sump to dry up. Is it a buggy Jebao? My WP25 and RW4 come back on at the last set setting when it goes off. Should I not have it plugged into slot 1 on the EB8?

I decided to buy the Jebao Module for the Apex in hopes this would get things to work.. Sadly the DCT series is not compatible with this...

Any help/insight would be great! Thanks!

My 6000 has a feed mode on the controller?

Ok. I don't know anything about apex then I'm reek keeper owner

The dct isnt compatible with the apex like you said, so other than using the stock controller feed mode you might want to try writing a code for the return pump. You can have it match up with your rw, so the coding will have the return turn off when the rw is turned off.

Okay, My DC pump is plugged into my Apex and I control how long its off with my feed modes, If I am feeding its 10 Minutes if I am changing the water its 20 minutes and so on, I can control anything I plug into the energy bar

Thank you for all your responses. I have found that the DCT series is not compatible with the Apex Module, but the other issue was the Jebao controller that came with the pump was defective and wouldnt store the speed settings when shut off and back on.

Lucky Logan over at Reef Breeders is a great vendor to work with and sent me a new controller without a problem and I have no problems now!

Cheers everyone!
