Jebao Doser 3.4

Has anyone got experience with the jebao 3.4 doser? I'm after one but I don't want to pay crazy prices for one!

I've been using the Jebao DP4 for over a year with no issues.

yea I have the originals. the base with 4 pumps and then the slave added on with 3 heads and I have never had to replace a dosing head in 3 years. they are great especially for the price.

Ive got an older Jebao DP4 and it works fine. Its a bit of a pain to configure and calibrate though.

There seem to be a lot of complaints on the new one about wifi issues - but its tough to tell how much of that is actually problems with the unit, and how much is bad documentation and people not being real tech-savvy.

if you look they made two version of the wifi one. one with only wifi and one with wifi and the controller pad on the top. I would search for the dual one

I purchased one about 5 months ago to replace my Dp4. It is way more accurate, quiet and a huge improvement over the DP4. The 3.4 can only be controlled over wifi. The app is a bit funky but not that hard to figure out. They recently release a another model 2.4 that has physical buttons along with wifi.

Hey - question about the app.

Is there any way to program "I want to dose 50 ml today - figure it out" vs the DP4 where I need to go through and program 5ml at 2 am, 5ml at 4am, 5ml at 6am, etc?

No you have to program each volume at specific time. Here is a picture of the app on one of my channels.

So, basically the DP4 interface without having to deal with all of the next,next,select,up,next nonsense, and multifunction buttons and tiny screen.


That's not too bad. Not ideal, but it's not a $400 doser.

Bringing up from the past, I just got one of each 2.4 and 3.4, started using the 2.4 to do auto water changes, love it but doing 1 gallon the wheels spin so quick they squeak and heat up. Other than frequent 1/4 gallon changes is there a way to adjust speed ?
