Jebao Doser dumps an extra mL every time

I ran into a problem the other day and thought I would share. I was dosing 3 mL of each alk and cal 4 times a day and I kept noticing a spike in my ph every time alk was dosed so I decided to dose 8 times a day instead of 4. Then I noticed my alk and cal started trending upwards of where I wanted them. I started looking around and I found a video on youtube where that person's jebao doser added an extra mL to every dose. I decided to do an experiment on my 4th channel that I'm not using right now. I programmed a 1 , 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 mL doses and stood by with a graduated cylinder to measure. Sure enough, each dose had exactly 1 more mL in it. This would not affect most that are dosing larger amounts than me, but I thought I'd share anyways.

Anyone else ever notice this?

These pumps are calibrated at 100ml, 9 ml is pretty far from the calibration point. If it's doing the same every time, just have it does one mL less to get it to does exactly 9 mL.

I experienced this as well. I was just happy it was consistent. Very easy workaround, just program for 1ml less than you want.

Yep. I have the same issues. Every time 1ml extra. I decided just to dose once a day because of it. I can better monitor it's inaccuracy. What do I expect from a $30 four head doser. I was going to make my own from an arduino but $30 shot that idea all to hell!

I agree it is an issue that is easy to work with. It may help someone else figure out why they are having issues when setting up the pump or changing dosing frequency.
