Anyone out there know the measurements for the Jebao Dosing Pump Peristaltic Tube IDxOD? Any recommendations on materials? Silicon, Tygon, etc...

Thanks.
Michael

I use the regular 1/4” air tube from lfs. Silicone works better.

To tag along, anybody know how to get them from back siphoning/tube emptying? Only 1 of the 4 pumps works properly and the tube stays filled. The other 3 only work depending on how it stops after each dose, sometimes it will empty...sometimes it wont. Even added a check value, still receding back. Part A dosing is perfect, then i have to measure and adjust part B to be in equilibrium every night, defeating the purpose of the pump.
Also, and FYI to all who use this. When the pumps are calibrated to 100ml, the first 1ml of every dose is actually 1.7-2.0 ml. Every ml after that will be the correct 1ml. Can make a huge difference in a nano tank.
Example. Pump 1 calibrated to 192 for dosing 100ml. Test dose of 1ml actually produced 1.8ml. Test dose of 2ml produced 2.8ml. Test dose of 3ml produced 3.8ml...and so on.
Easy fix to get an actual 1ml dose.
1/1.8=.555555556
.556 * 192 = 106.667
Calibrate Pump dry to 106 instead of the 192.
New Test, 1ml dose = 1ml dose.

Hey all,

I meant the tubing inside the pump head, not the tubing you might use to connect to the dosing container or the sump.

LostInTheDark,
I have used check valves and that seems to have solved the problem for me. Of course, I am not working with a nano tank so the tolerances are greater. I've been using it for over a year the 2-part containers seem to track pretty close to one another. You can try playing with the placement of the pump and the dosing containers. Gravity will play a role. Anyway, these are pretty cheap dosers so it would be amazing if they had really tight tolerances and dosed accurately.

btw, I had to play around with the heads a few times to get it working right.
