Jebao Gyre Anemone Guard?

Hi all. Unfortunately the worst happened today - a fish somehow stuck in my gyre and shredded. I’m absolutely heartbroken, and looking for a solution to prevent this from ever happening again.

I’m currently running the Jebao SCP-70M gyres in my tank and have stolen a pair of my partners stockings to make a cover. Is anyone aware of a nem cover that is made for these?

If not, I will likely purchase some Icecap Gyres as a replacement as those come with Nem guards.

I have the exact same gyre pump and have been looking for nem guards too. I've come up with nothing, so I'm going to see if a member of a FB group I'm in can 3D print me one. If she can, I can get you her info!

I got this from a local reefer its some kind of rubber netting, you cut it at the right size and pull it over the pump.

Contact iSeaLive. He can custom design/print whatever you need. I use his anemone guards on my "normal" wavemakers. I'm sure her could whip something up for you.

I'd be curious what others have done, how its worked out, what kind of flow reductions, and see some pictures. Having some bubble tips I've been nervous about powerheads in the tank. I've also seen many complaints about dwarf cerith snails and other small critters easily jam or worse break the...

Steve would you be able to make a new gaurd for BAOSHISHAN cross flow wave maker? Or have one that works? I can't find the exact specs and size of it but if you let me know what measurements to take I can do that.
