Got a used DP4 doser. Plug it in and go to calibrate...BLAMMO. Electrolytic cap on the power input blew.

As a degreed EE, I'm ok fixing it. The wife, however, is not. She doesn't want this to run unattended and blow while nobody is home.

So...how is the FX4 Pro from those that have one?

I checked the power supply that was sent from the seller - wrong supply. Too much oomph for the filter cap coming in from the DC input. Easy technical fix, but convincing the wife is a diff story
