Evening,
New to the hobby, running the fluvial 13.5 with a 1000gph pump (turned down) and a jebao ow10.

no matter where in the tank i put or aim this, or even rearrange the rocks, the guys in the front never get that perfect amount of wave, it’s either perfectly still (and everything settles in front) or Mach 5 and corals are trying to release themselves from the glue.

I had just turned the light on at night for the video attached.

The video doesn’t play for me that sounds like overkill on a 13 gallon tank, for example I’m running a 540 GPH return at 80% on my 40 gallon mixed reef and two OW20’s at about 30%.

It does look like a lot of flow. Maybe two smaller power heads opposing each other might create more turbulence with less directional current. There are some quality nano power heads out there, but I don't really have much experience in that department. I'm sure someone else will chime in.

it’s lowest setting is supposedly 130 or 240, I do very much appreciate the functionality of jebao, and I’ve seen YouTube videos of people using it successfully.

I’d be happy to purchase small ones, if they pulsed - seems like most of the micro ones are continuous only.
