Jebao Powerhead magnets

I have a Red Sea Reefer 250 and I would like to upgrade powerheads from my SOW's but it seems like all the newer model Jebao's use a weaker magnet i've tried the SLWs and the 2024 ELW and both don't work. Any workarounds or am I missing something?

Just a tought, because I made this mistake when I bought them. Make sure, that you have one of the magnets on the powerhead back, and the other outside, and not both outside. So like: powerhead + magnet 1 | magnet 2

Thats correct. I bought the newest DLW version and the magnet seems a bit weak, but they will hold.
Btw, they recently released a Ecotech MP clone: jecod DMP on taobao, did you guys try that?

I have not tried them yet but here's a guy who bought one and put together a nice little unboxing video just recently. I might try one sometime but I'll let others be the guinea pigs for a year or so first.
