Jebao PP-8 quit working on me, please help

Hey everyone, I bought a Jebao PP-8 just a few months ago and it had been working great for me... until it suddenly stopped working. Whenever I plug the controller in, it doesnt light up or anything anymore. I just walked up to my tank one day and saw it not working, looked on the side and the controller was off. I have tried plugging it into various outlets around my house, it just isnt turning on. What could cause this or what could I do to fix it?! -Yes it was plugged into a surge protector while in use. Please help! Thanks!

If it's a couple of months old, it should be under warranty.

Make sure the power supply is putting out the correct voltage.

Let me think long and hard about this ................................ stooped working........................................ not working........................................ Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ................................. heave to buy a new pump.

Try a different power supply and see if that's your issue. You may even have one around the house you can test it with. I have run mine on a 12v adapter when I needed to put it on a smaller tank.

Thanks to the non sarcastic people who suggested actual possible solutions. I will check the voltage of the power supply and also try to power up the controller with a different 12v power supply. I will see if I can have anything done with warranty as well. I'm sure it's just something with the controller or power supply and the powerhead itself is probably just fine, but who knows. These were the kinds of suggestions I was looking for I guess, thank you for not being smart alics like others were!
