Anyone know a successful way to slow down 2 jebao pp20 other than changing to a smaller pump. I have two of these on a 6ft tank and even on the slowest setting I feel like it’s too much flow. Might be overthinking things. Placement is on the back glass facing forward at a 45 nearly towards the middle. Don’t want them on either end, and the cords are too short for that. I read somewhere that people were running them at 12v instead of 24v and slowing them down. Just trying to come up with a way to slow them down a bit or disrupt the flow output somehow to spread out the flow maybe.

Not sure about running them on 12V or if the controller would even work..

You can carefully trim down the blades to reduce power but the blades need to be cut the exact same or it may throw pump out of balanice and cause vibration/noise.

honestly don’t see how they would be two much on a 6 foot tank.. I’m running 2 jebao OW-20’s on a 3 foot tank ;)

I thought about trimming, but a bad vibration and noise could follow if it wasn’t equal. I’m just gonna leave we’ll enough alone. The way I have them positioned they push hard to the front glass. The cables aren’t long enough to run them on the sides of the tank, and honestly don’t want to look at them on the side panel. They get too close to the surface they pull water like a tornado so I have to run them quite a few inches down. I appreciate the response.
