Hello everyone... I'm setting up my 90 gallon and was going back and forth between two jebao pp4 wavemakers or just one pp8...Also is there any real difference between the ppm series ( I know lol).. and the rw series... I was told by last that one of 8's will be enough...I'd like some feedback on this please...thanks

I just sawed the Jebao PPs yesterday while I checking out my LFS. I still need to see what the difference between the PP and the RWs. I have a RW8 and a RW4 on my 54g corner tank and they seem to be doing well. I think you be good with the 8s on your 90.

I tried 2 rw8s on my 45gt and it was too much. I'm now running 1 rw8 and 1 wp25 and it's doing well. I would bet the pp8s would work well in your 90. The pp is the improved rw that runs multiple pumps on a single controller and stronger magnets make it more stable.

I run two PP15 in my bare bottom 80G deep blue. One is set to wave and the other is set for standard flow. Both are turned all the way up and I don't feel it's too much.

I had one rw4 on a 45 cube (almost half the size of a 90) and it worked perfect, so I think 2 would be great for a 90. With just one rw8 you may not be able to get the flow pattern you are looking for. As far as differences I think it is just the style, the controllers are the same. I personally prefer the look of the RW model over the PP.
