Jebao pump mix

Hi, I have 2 jebao pumps one is 6500 without the connector the other 8000 with the connector. Would it be possible to run the 6500 using the connector from the 8000 or would the latter be too powerful

The connector on the 8000 Jebao pump is designed specifically for that model and its power output. While it may physically fit the 6500 pump, it is not recommended to use the connector from the 8000 pump on the 6500 pump. The connector is designed to ensure compatibility between the pump and other components, such as hoses or filtration systems. Using a connector from a more powerful pump on a less powerful pump can result in improper flow rates and potentially damage the 6500 pump. I haven't done such experiments, but I once tried to connect another charger to my laptop and it burned out...
