My Jebao RW-4 stopped working.

I connected my RW-8 Controller and still nothing so I know it's the actual power head / fan part.

I emailed [email protected] and never heard back.

Is this the right contact? Any ideas or advice? Thanks!

That's what they're supposed to do. ;)

Good luck though, hopefully you can get help. But that's the problem with the Chinese knockoffs. You get the cheap price but the customer support isn't there. People get mad and call me names when I try to warn them before hand.

Your best bet is contacting whoever you purchased them from.. Fishstreet maybe could help? They helped me long ago but I warn you people have reported to have gotten taken by them as well.

It's a common failure on the jebaos. IME with a deep clean with vinegar they come to work fine again.
Sorry for my bad english. [emoji6]

What's the difference between Jebao and Jecod?

Do you guys think the Nuvo 20 or Fusion Lagoon 25 needs a power head or would the return create enough movement?

And what is the best nano power head? MP10?

I'd take the white shaft out and clean the hole on the back side where the spacer is that holds the white shaft its usually what causes it to stick! Vinegar soaking it should help

same experience here, my Jebao only work with constant flow mode, everything else won't work. is this common?

Straight vinegar soak for a few hours once a month to every other month is all you need. I've been doing this with my wp-10s for the past year with good results.

Yea ive had no luck with the smaller jebao pumps, they always giveout on me in a month or 2 regardless if i clean them. My lfs switches them out for me everyyear or gets me parts, maybe ask whoever you bought from? Also take it all apart, the problems ive seen with the rw4 is the clear/white bushing that holds the propeller to the cage gets stuck

I replace my ceramic bushings/bearings with some 1/4" airline tubing for about a week while I soaked the originals in straight vinegar. I replaced the originals and now they don't lock up after stopping. I would love to soak the impellers for a week too but that would mean taking them offline. These are wp 25s and are over two and half years old. I have heard other stories of running them in full speed with no variations for about a week to correct the magnetism in the impeller and drive. I don't fully understand that, but I would try it before throwing them in the trash. I bought mine with no inclination that customer service would be existent. Three years for two wave makers for $100 is a steal in my opinion.
