Jebao RW-4 review?

I'm pretty excited about running two SL1 controllers. Though, I don't think my bubble coral will like it two much.. lol

RW series wavemaker will last longer if you clean them once a month. All pumps need cleaning. If you don't it will spin less and heat up the magnetic coil inside. Take less than 5 minutes to clean two jebao in my tank. All other pumps require cleaning regularly too.

Very interested if you can send me a video :)

Here you go, cleaned glass and blew off rocks so there's debris in water to help visualize the flow pattern. Only one RW8 running with original power supply (had been using a lower voltage supply).
Excuse the fake anenome it's for the clowns until the toadstool is out of quarantine. [emoji16]
The tank is a reefer 250, 36x20x21
There is around 30sec each if Else mode, then W1, then H (constant flow) all on highest power setting

Hey again guys. Ordered the jebaos so can't wait for them to come in so I can test it out.

One question I couldn't find the answer to was if the pump is in else mode, does it randomly do wave modes(completely on and off) or is it just a constant on with different power? I know it's random flow but does it cycle through the modes separately or is it constantly on and just goes up and down in speed

Else is constant flow of variable speeds. I have not listened to it to see if there is a pattern at all or if it is just random.
I do thinks its more random. Though the speeds aren't adjustable.

Cool. Constant flow with different speeds is what I'm looking for. The wave action may be too much stress on my tank glass

Ok. Update. Pump came early. I ordered the tw-10 (cheapest one with the controller) for my 55g 4ft tank and WOW. This little thing packs a punch. Love the else and w2 modes... you can get away with LPs medium flow with just one of these. I have a tunze filter that's 200 gph with it and everything is swaying, detritus is suspended for a while and even when it settles, random flow scoops it back up. If anyone is considering it, do it now. I'm sold completely on these pumps. Now let's hope it lasts a while :)

I've had my rw4 running for 2 1/2 years now, I only clean it about every 4-6 months. For the money, I like it

But the SW is the same PP pump.

You also wont get better random flow than with the AQLink S1 controller...

Where can I purchase the AQLink S1 controller? Nothing came up on a google search. Or is it just the app itself that is the controller...?

Look up aqualink s1, it'll pop up. Also check out the jbwave
