Jebao RW4 Running Backwards?

So for the past few days I've had to fiddle with my Jebao RW4 wavemaker as I didn't see any current being generated. Seems like it goes 'backwards' and in turn causes less flow. I know Koralias have this issue, what can I do to fix this on the RW4?

Reverse polarity.
Pull out magnet and place back in and plug in unit. If it still happens. Unplug and plug back in. Should work. Last recourse- Place plug into outlet backwards ( MAKE THIS A LAST RECOURSE)
