When i upgraded to my 180g my lfs recomended a jebao scp -150 gyre

i feel like its kicks out little micro air bubbles, have taken apart, played with modes, can’t figure it out

anyone with experience with this piece of equipment

Sits about two-3 inches below water line, their is a return nearby but really only outputs water when chiller is on, i sont think thats making a dofference

The microbubbles are coming from somewhere. Causing air to be mixed in the water. It won't be the actual pump itself causing. Usually the more powerful the gyre the lower you have to mount it. It will suck air from the surface. Sometimes it's obvious with a little cyclone and noise. Sometimes it's subtle.

I have a 150 on one end and a 180 on the other end of my 230

they push a lot of water .
I have mine a little
Lower , closer to 5” below water level and no micro bubbles

Dumb question

Its not upside down is it

Came pre built so assume parts are correct
