Jebao Scp 70 gyre wavemaker

I recently bought the Jebao Scp 70 wavemaker and while it gives the corals some great flow it does this random shooting of water that kinda gets annoying and is loud. Is there anyway to fix this or do I have to return it.

Looks like a controller issue to me. I'd suggest unplugging the pump from the power and then taking apart the screw connection between the control box and the pump itself. Clean/check the connections and then screw it back together carefully. Plug it back in and try it again. I know that mine was a bit funky at the beginning when I was testing it out and that the connection ended up being the source of the issue.
