was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction to the proper power supply too run two jebao ow-40s

i had my smaller jebaos hooked up to the adapter and they were super weak im guessing due to the power supply being from the single controller

Like a single controller to run two powerheads or the ac-dc supply to run to controllers off one outlet.

Also that has nothing to do with APEX

have no idea what you mean

Hi All, just wanted to get some advice.

I'm going to have an Apex with 0-10v ports available. I want to connect 2 jebao pumps and control them via the Apex. There are different modules I found RW / SW / OW. As far as I can tell, the OW is the newest, however the SW actually has internal 0-10v port. The RW would need the Jebao to Apex adapter.

Does anyone have any insight as to what these new pumps having a 0-10v port means? Does this mean they can be directly connected to APEX? I'm quite confused on this. I just dont want to purchase additional controllers if I don't have to.

I'm just looking to control 2 jebao pumps (newest versions possible) through an Apex. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks !

Hi Ramasule, looks like the first 2 videos are for a return pump, and the 3rd video is a DIY project of hooking up an sw4. Thanks for linking.

However I was under the impression that with the newer models having the 0-10v output, wouldn't that mean they can hook up directly to the APEX?

Regarding the adapter, does anyone know if the adapter only works on RW or PP series jebao pumps? I see that they have newer models, however I'm not sure how to hook them up, or if they work with the Jebao to Apex Adapter.

Thanks!

THE NEW OW STYLE PUMPS DO NOT WORK WITH THE JEBAO TO APEX ADAPTER.

fried mine after few mins got stupid hot and smelt like melted wires

LowLi, OMG !!! That is terrible. Good to know the OW series is not compatible with the adapter.

Does anyone have any experience with hooking up the SW to apex through the 0-10v port? Looks like only the RW series is compatible with the Apex adapter without having to do some manual wiring?

Hi Ram,

I looked through all the pictures of your thread (I dont see a video of SW4-Apex). I'm still unsure of what mod's need to be made because its my understanding that the SW-4 does have a 0-10v output port to connect to Apex. It looks like you're doing a mod on the power supply, and then you did a mod on the actual cable connecting to Apex.

Is this correct?

0-10 input port, i soldered to it because I didnt order the cable, you can order the cable.

Check out fishstreet

Incredible. Thanks for the link.

So basically looks like I need the 2 SW powerheads, and the 2 pump controllers and the cable you linked. Looks like I dont need the adapter anymore, correct?

Also, will I have 2 separate power supplies with one running each pump?

Thanks Ram.

It looks like for the RW-4 the pumps go directly to adapter, to Apex via ethernet, 1 power supply (No controllers needed)

It looks like for the SW-4 the pumps go to each individual controller, then to apex via cable (3.5mm?), 2 power supplies (Both controllers needed)

That's unfortunate you have to use both of the power supplies with the newer SW model. I feel if i wanted to save an outlet my only choice would be to go with the older RW model.

So, if you program your SW-4 powerheads with the Apex, but still have the SW4 controllers hooked up, what settings do you have your SW4 controllers on?

Thanks
