ok. ok. first i know these pumps arent the greatest name brand. i have had a dcp6500 for like 5 years and started out on my 75 gallon. I currently have a reefer 450. still running the same dcp 6500.
just installed a trigger platinum sump and thinking i may wakt to start pushing some more flow thru the rollermat. as it is now and has always been the dcp6500 is running at 99%. NOW plumbing the red sea was a huge pita but its done. so here is my question.
are all the pumps the same size height wise? i really dint want to F with the plumbingx if i dint have to.
Also since i am restricted to 3/4" plumbing would a move to a 10,000 or 15,000 produce improved flow? ive got plenty of room to play wuth my herbie style over flow and spears valve has room to balance.
