I recently helped a friend tear down a tank that he redeployed, which not only came with a complete tank, but a ton of extra equipment. From this I took a TW-40 and PW-2 wavemaker, because he didn't need them. I have them setup in my QT tank just for testing, they appear to have the same controller, so I set them up as master and slave. They 'appear' to be working together, but I wants to find something official that said this really is possible, or maybe its not across different models. I most likely won't continue using them like this, I'll leave the PW in the QT tank, and migrate the TW upstairs into my DT, where it will replace a knock off AC Chinese knock off pump, so it'll be a huge upgrade, the follow up question is does anyone have an experience matching other Jebao pumps with each other. I assume an identical TW-40 would match fine, but if I'm buying another new pump i'd probably get the PP since its a newer modem, or the OW series honestly I have no clue and can't really figure out the comparison between different model series.

Yes this will work, it is the controllers that determine the comparability and not the pump themselves. However I will warn you that they stock controllers are notoriously flukey in the master/slave mode and if you are looking for a long term solution I highly recommend the JBwave aftermarket controller for Jabeos.

Understood, I currently have a Aqualink A1 setup for my DCP return pump, and I know it will also control certain wavemakes thus replacing their controller, too bad it can only do 1 pump, I'll look into it.
