(Hopefully this is the right board but....)

I’m an idiot and overflowed my sump the other day. One of my wavemakers controllers and power cords (the plug into the controller) got wet in the overflow.

Do you think this would still be fine/safe to use?

Thanks in advance!

It’s funny u say that. I was doing a water change and the full controller fell into the sump. I quickly turned it off rinsed it under tap water opened it up and used the hairdryer. Turned it in and it’s working like normal.

We've all done something like this. Personally I'd let it dry off and see if it still works. Try and wipe off any visible water and let it sit for a day. The big issue would probably be corrosion of the electronics inside, so hopefully it stayed out.

Think I would be better off rinsing it in RODI water than just letting the Saltwater dry? I definitely didn’t rinse it lol
