Pump sucks quit after like 6 months slowly put out less and less power untill it finally just quit. I recommend staying away and buying a reputable pump. My tunze 6105 still going strong and has more power anyway. Even brand new it couldnt compete with a tunze or vortech.

I had one go bad also but I think it was due to cleaning. Mike how much you want for the impeller and bushings?

I purchased a wp-40, about 6 months ago. Needless to say it was all good. Then it wasn't. It stopped working after a power outage/surge. It was surge protected but for some reason it stopped working. After a couple emails (q and a`s) the company replaced the bad part free of charge, once again it is doing its thang.

Well hopefully the two I just ordered today will be of a better batch. After a MP40 failing on me and having to spend $93 + shipping for a wetside was not happy. Also after tearing it down was really unimpressed with the quality of components to a $675 EcoTech product. I'll take my chances on two WP-40's for $175 delivered and feel that I will be $$$$$$$'s ahead even without a warranty. Were any of these that failed a newer model with Night Sensor slow down mode ?

Yea i went to change modes from constant to wave and it just seized up. Tried vinegar bathing and all that and still no go.

Things are good man thx. Just busy atm working 12 hr days 7 days a week.

Mine is 4 months old, working fine. I've cleaned it once. My night sensor started freaking out, just pulled it out and works fine
