I was able to use a three prong plug from the one that is used on a borrowed mp10.

It's funny you had this problem so close to when I had mine. I had a flood and mine was on the deck and it got soaked and shorted out. So I simply looked up the correct wattage/amperage and bought one cheaper from eBay. I was smart enough to clip off the old barrel connector that plugs into the controller just in case. Glad I did. The new one had some weird connector I couldn't use. The new wire was slightly wonky as well. It was like cable coacts with a center core you had to bare and a network of wire woven around the center core which I peeled around and twisted into the second wire. FYI... The Center core is your V+...:) Soldered them and BAM! Back up n runnin

Well, I haven't heard any responses on this, so I pulled the trigger. Hopefully the cord is correct.
