Hey guys!

So a friend tossed a WP25 my way, and I really liked it, so I picked up another (TW25).

I really like the units, but they're pushing out wayyy too much flow, even @ the lowest wave setting!
Is there anyway to reduce the power of this thing?

Before I used the right adapter, I used a a 12V (rather than the 24v it comes with), and the power was way less, which was cool... but I didn't know if that could cause any harm to the unit.

Looking forward to any input!
Also would love any info on possibly customizing the wave patterns w/ external devices? The other options such as 'random' are cool, but still too much flow cause it'll go from 30-100%, so that would make my 55gallon tank a tidal pool xD

What is the GPH? Doesn't it come with a controller? I'm just asking because I just picked one up and I'm scared to see what it does in my 30gl.

One wp25 in 55g is not enough flow even with fish only. You would at least 2 of those running at full power on a 55g.

Dude, it's going to be overkill. Mine on lowest setting will pump water from one end to the other no problem. 4ft long tank.
Some vids below from other users

I'm considering getting rid of these & getting the 10's instead

lol, 2x @ full power will be overkill. I hope you actually own one & aren't just making recommendations based off #s
This is what it'll look @ on full power...
Same single unit, on a 70
I have 2x on lowest power, on the top of the tank, and it took over 2x hours of trying new positions to not make my hammer corals look like they're about to have a nervous breakdown.
I have 2x HoB filters, so I know water being returned from that is crashing w/ water from these pumps, but as said: I would like to be able to use the other modes, such as "ELSE" so I can get random patterns, but at much lower power.

Stock it only performs that mode 30-100%, which is why I thought the other adapter might be a better resolution, but IDK if I can do that without causing harm to the unit

Any additional input?
Could this be used w/ a custom controller?
